Super Typhoon Hagibis Churning in the Western Pacific Ocean; Could Strike Japan, Including Tokyo, This Weekend

Super Typhoon Hagibis is centered over the open waters of the Western Pacific Ocean.Hagibis will weaken, but still is expected to be a formidable typhoon striking Japan this weekend.It could be the second significant typhoon strike in Tokyo in just over a month, after September's Faxai. Damaging winds, storm surge flooding and rainfall flooding are all threats.

Super Typhoon Hagibis remains a western Pacific Ocean powerhouse. While it is forecast to weaken, it will also curl toward a potential strike in Japan, possibly including Tokyo, this weekend.
