Sanibel Causeway Opens To Convoy Two Weeks After Hurricane Ian

Two weeks after being severed by Hurricane Ian, the Sanibel Causeway reopened to a convoy of utility vehicles on Tuesday. Permanent repairs continue and the causeway, the only link between Sanibel Island and the Florida mainland, should reopen to residents on October 21.
