Isaias has regained hurricane strength and some additional strengthening is possible as it approaches the Carolinas.
Hurricane Isaias is expected to make landfall late Monday or early Tuesday on the upper South Carolina coast or in southeastern North Carolina. Life-threatening storm surge flooding, dangerous winds and heavy rainfall are likely.
Isaias will only slowly weaken as it spreads impacts up the East Coast through Wednesday.
