As hot weather continues to engulf the city of Chengdu in China's Sichuan province, pet owners have been trying to find ways to help their pet animals cool off. The "Pet Pool" has proven to be a popular solution. The newly opened swimming pool for pets has been so popular that pet owners have been asked to make reservations for their pets days in advance.
The Pet Pool lets pets swim and play in the swimming pool, and owners are even allowed to join in the fun. Staff members of the pool examine all pets before allowing them to swim.
But cooling off in style comes with a price. The pool charges a fee, which reportedly depends on pet breed, weight and length of hair.
