Meteorite Crashes into Russia (PHOTOS)

On Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, a meteor streaked across the Russian sky and crashed into the ground. Hundreds were injured, mostly by broken glass, according to reports.

Police dash cameras and onlookers captured images of the meteor as it descended to Earth, and some images of damage were also sent in. Here are some of the pictures from the area that was given an unpleasant jolt by the meteorite.
