The Patagonia Mountains. (Mikko Lagerstedt)

Photographers Konsta Punkka and Mikko Lagerstedt are known for their stunning work in capturing wildlife and nature. The two recently came together to produce a series of documentaries called "" that highlight the beauty of Patagonia.

Guanacos are numerous in the Patgonia area. They live in tight herds and teach the young how to walk and run immediately after birth. Konsta Punkka and Mikko Lagerstedt photographed the unique moments of the herds and also of guanacos that keep watch on mountain slopes. (Konsta Punkka)

The Patagonia Puma is the largest land carnivore in Chile. They live in a variety of habitats, ranging from a dense forest to rocky and shrubby areas. (Konsta Punkka)

Konsta Punkka, also known as a "squirrel whisperer" won over the Internet with his close-up photographs of wildlife. Here he gets up close and personal with a puma in Patagonia. (Konsta Punkka)

The two photographers are based in Finland. They focused their series on nature overall, capturing both the landscape and animals of Patagonia.

Though the beauty is vast in Patagonia, we face the grim reality that climate change is causing glaciers to melt. (Mikko Lagerstedt)
