Winter Storm Xanto was a historic mid-April storm that dumped record snowfallon parts of the upper Midwest and Great Lakes late last week through the weekend.
More than 30 inches of snow piled up in some locations, and the snow piles and drifts left behind made for incredible sights – especially for the second month of spring.

At theMarinette-Menominee YMCAin the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, snow was Monday. Between April 13 and 16, Menominee officially recorded a storm total of 24.5 inches, the in the city.
The National Weather Service office in Marquette, Michigan, picked up 25.9 inches of snow over those same four days. On April 15 alone, 15.8 inches fell – the for the month of April.
