Sometimes the cold can be refreshing: there’s a reason people don’t seek out warm ice cream! But other times, who can muster putting on so many layers of clothing and bracing for what promises to cause red cheeks and numb ears? There is something to be said for white Christmas, but that’s one day— arguably one week— a year. What about the rest of Jack Frost’s visit on our shores?
Fret no more! There are always places in this world to go get outta town and escape the freeze.

From Australia to Morocco, Mexico to India, there are plenty of destinations to get a respite from the sleet, snow, and general runny noses. From Kenyan safaris to New Zealand beaches and Chilean desert haunts, there are trips for every traveling type: adventure travelers, outdoors lovers, and luxury tourists.
Places located near and around the tropics, like Florida, for example, tend to have consistently warm climates 12 months a year. Places south of the equator like South Africa tend to have the opposite climate of their northern counterparts, which is why when it's winter in the northern hemisphere, it's summer in the southern hemisphere.
Some trips, like one to India's Andaman Islands can be a rather big trip from the U.S., as it would require a flight, often with a layover or two or three. To get to India's Andaman Islands from New York City for example, entails a flight to any of India's international airports with at least one layover, and then another flight to the islands themselves. But it's beauty and budget friendly, making the trek totally worth it and the trip of a lifetime! Flights to the lands down under, Australia and New Zealand, are also pretty far, and can often require ore than a day to travel to arrive.
Other options, like the trip from anywhere to the U.S. to Miami, FL or San Diego, CA are significantly easier trips, comparatively, as they don't require a passport for Americans, don’t require an international cell phone plan, and don’t require a currency change, either. Plus, they offer some pretty nice resorts, night life, and consistent weather year round.
Whatever your preference, a change of perspective— and weather— is never far out of reach!
