Parts of California and Nevada are preparing to see excessive rainfall that could lead to flash flooding, landslides and debris flows. Mountainous terrain and burn scars make the situation exceptionally dangerous. Hilary is expected to de-intensify by the time it reaches the U.S., but the storm will still bring heavy rain to some regions.
